Our qualified Archery GB Instructors will teach you how to shoot a bow and arrow safely. They will provide you with tips and techniques through competitions and games, such as the pizza game.
This activity is well suited to any group, whether you are a beginner or an expert!
Archery is a fun activity, offering adventure, coordination and achievement to all.
If you have your own equipment and instructors you are able to book a self-led session which includes use of the archery range.
We also offer soft archery. A self-led option which is a great introduction to the sport of archery. Use the sucker arrows to take aim at our special targets.
Self-Led Activity
If you book this activity as self-led, you will get access to the archery range with three targets. You will need to provide your own bows, arrows, stands, safety equipment etc.
As the Leader in Charge you are responsible for the supervision of your group, including ensuring the safety of all participants. You should complete a risk assessment for your activity.
Please note the range is not lit- therefore can only be used with floodlights during the darker months. Each session lasts for 1 1/2hrs.
Confirmation Needed
Bookings for this activity need to be confirmed by the Bookings Team before your booking is confirmed. This is to ensure the correct volunteer staff are available to prepare the activity prior to your session.
You can book online, with no payment required until your booking is confirmed. You will be emailed when your booking is confirmed with a link to pay.
Please note it is a maximum of 12 participants for each 1.5 hour session.
