For the sensory walk, your group will need to set up a trail to follow blindfolded, guided by other members of the team. This could involve going over, under, around, or through any obstacles you can think off.
This activity also included in the equipment is a variety of other equipment for games involving sensory deprevation.
Participants will need to rely on their senses and other members of the team to direct them with clear and concise commands. Unfortunately this is not always the case, with comical results!
Team members will improve their skills in the following areas:
- Leadership
- Communication
- Listening
- Following instructions
Please note that this is an activity in a box – please ensure you consider set up time in your activity plan – this could be done by leaders before the sessions, or by the group as a part of your activity.
Self-Led Activity
This is a self-led, you will get access to the activity space and all the equipment needed to run a 90 minute session.
As the Leader in Charge you are responsible for the supervision of your group, including ensuring the safety of all participants. You should complete a risk assessment for your activity.
