Book your own Fiesta Package

Our purpose-built Fiesta package is perfect for anyone looking to run a large-scale event, whether you’re expecting 100 participants, or 1,000.

With over 60 activities on offer, and a number of exciting new activities including a Cave Bus and Ladder Climb, we can cater to any size of district and offer exclusive use for larger events. Each fiesta is different, and customised to your needs.

We provide the space and venue, and all the equipment you need, along with operating procedures, and large-scale event guidance. You provide the volunteers for self-led activities and let us know if you’d like to discuss anything special for your event.

Your organisation will be responsible for taking bookings and managing health forms, but our team will handle the rest of the arrangements. Our team can advise you on a suitable booking system if required.

Get in touch with our team to discuss your needs in more detail and start working towards your perfect event.

More Details

With over 50 activities on offer, there is a wide selection of activities for all age ranges. Some activities are more appropriate to younger/older participants like archery and soft archery, but there’s something for everyone! We recommend splitting into smaller groups to avoid large queues – we do not require each group to have a leader, subject to your risk assessment. Activities on offer are subject to change – any changes will be updated on the map and programme.

Activities run throughout the weekend – check out the programme for more details.

Volunteers from each group will need to help supervise some self-led activities – please take this into account when considering ratios and your risk assessment.

A copy of our instructed activity risk assessments, and self-led activity guidance are available here. Please note we do not provide risk assessments for self-led activities.

Check-in opens at 5pm. A representative of each group/unit should check in to collect your wristbands.

Event tickets are non-refundable, meaning the number of tickets cannot be reduced once booked. We recommend booking the minimum number of tickets you expect to need and getting in touch to increase the number of attendees if needed.

Rangers and explorers who are turning 18 during the event can take part in the event as a participant but must not be involved in supervising other young people at any point during the event, in line with our safeguarding policy. Any rangers or explorer who are going to be supervising young people must attend as an adult, which may impact their ability to take part in a small number of activities.

Leader’s children are welcome to come to the event but must have a participant ticket unless they are under four years old.

We can provide an invoice for groups/units unable to pay online – please get in touch and let us know.

There is a shop on site by the main entrance. We recommend young people bring £15 to spend in the shop. The shop has a varied selection of toys & games, badges, woggles, woodhouse park memorabilia, drinks, pastries, ice creams, snacks and sweets. We accept cash & card.

We cannot provide access to a fridge/freezer, unless you have booked accommodation. Power is available at various points across the centre for leaders to charge mobile phones.

See the event map for the location of all our carparks. Please use the main reception carpark if you may need to leave the site during the event, and for drop-off/collection.

Please note there is another event on the Saturday, so groups camping overnight will not be able to drive onsite until 5pm.

We are a zero-waste site. Please take as much waste as possible home. There is a small provision for recyclable waste in the main site carpark, which groups can use if needed.

Canisters and batteries must not be disposed of onsite and must be taken to a suitable waste recycling centre.

Groups and units can arrange to set up campsites in advance of the event by getting in touch with our bookings team.

You are welcome to have an open fire, but this must be contained off the ground (e.g. in an altar fire) or in a designated campfire circle/firepit.

Woodhouse Park is a scout centre owned and managed by Avon Scouts, we follow the Scout’s safeguarding guidance and yellow card. Every leader attending the event is given a copy of the yellow card.

Leaders attending the event must follow the rules of their organisation, which usually includes the requirement for a DBS check and/or training.

All attendees must wear a wristband throughout the event, and they may be asked to show this at any time.

A WhatsApp community will be running during the event, which we encourage a leader from each group to join.

This will be used for any announcements from our team, such as changes to the programme or activities.
