When is the event?

The event is from Friday 10th until Sunday 12th June 2022

Who is the event for?

The event is open to all sections Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, Network from Bristol South and Cotswold Edge Districts only.

Where is the event being held?

The event is being held at Woodhouse Park Activity Centre. Directions

How much does it cost?

The cost for all participants will be £20. This is a self-catering event and does not include the cost of transport to or from the event. Groups may charge more to include catering and transport.

What time can we arrive?

The Centre will be open from 12 noon on the Friday.

What activities are included in the price?

All activities and camping fees are included in the £20 price. An up-to-date list of activities is above (subject to change). Groups will need to arrange their own food and transport.

How do I book?

Participants will need to contact their section leader to book. Group leaders can book online.

Is there an event badge?

No, but we will be including a festival band. New Woodhouse Park badges can purchased from the shop for £1.50.

Do I need spending money?

The Centre shop will be open during the event selling a variety of badges, t-shirts, drinks, ice creams, sweets, tea and coffee. The shop accepts cash and card payments.


Final Information for Attendees

Rifle Shooting / Laser Tag Form

To take part in either air rifle shooting or laser tag each participant must show a signed form. Please print the below form for each participant and ensure it is signed by their parent. It will need to be shown to the instructor at the activity.

Parking

If you are leaving your car on site at any point during the weekend- please print the below form and leave visible in your car. This means we can contact you if required.

Directions

Arriving Woodhouse Park

Please be aware there are roadworks on the A38. – please try to reduce how many cars you arrive in.

Directions from M4 and M5

1. Take junction 20 of M4 onto the M5 south. (Bristol West)

2. At Junction 16 of M5 exit onto A38 towards Filton/Thornbury.

3. At the roundabout take 3rd exit onto Gloucester Rd, towards Thornbury.

4. Turn left onto Fernhill and the centre is on the right. Do not follow Sat Nav down the hill.

Leaving Woodhouse Park

Please ensure you Turn Right down the hill when leaving site. This will enable a flow of traffic – see map below.

Online booking is only for Group Leaders, individual participants need to contact their Group Leader to book.
