All you need to know

Looking for fun-filled, outdoor activities for your kids this School Holiday? We are running our popular holiday club again this summer. Book for your child (or children!) and they’re sure to have a fantastic time on our Adventure course, Pedal go Karts, as well as enjoying a range of activities such as laser tag, team challenge and more!

The Holiday Club will be running over the summer holidays on:

  • Monday 12th August
  • Tuesday 13th August
  • Thursday 15th August
  • Monday 19th August
  • Thursday 22nd August
  • Friday 23rd August
  • Wednesday 28th August
  • Thursday 29th August

AGE

The Holiday Club is open to children aged 7 -14.

WHAT TO WEAR

Please wear comfortable clothing, suitable for climbing and Adventure in the outdoors including sensible footwear – trousers or long shorts and trainers are ideal. 

WHAT TO BRING

  • Packed lunch, snacks and lots of drinks
  • Spare clothes
  • Sun cream and sunhat and/or
  • Wet weather gear as the adventure continues in all weather conditions.

Days run from 9.30am to 3.30pm and cost £39 per child.

All our staff are qualified instructors who have completed DBS checks along with Safety, Safeguarding and First Aid Training.

As most activities will be outside please ensure your child is prepared with the following:

  • Comfortable clothes appropriate for the days weather
  • Sunscreen and hat
  • Waterproof clothing
  • A water bottle
  • Closed toe footwear – such as sturdy trainers or boots
  • Long Hair should be tied back in a low pony tail
  • A complete change of clothes and a towel

Please let your instructor have the following:

  • Any additional or medical needs your child may have, including any allergies or medication they may need to have with them.
  • An emergency contact number for you during the day.

Your child will get the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities during the day. For full details about each activity, please click here.

  1. Holiday Club cannot be extended into over night camping on site and only Operate between 9.30am until 3.30pm Additional £5 for every 10 minutes late.
  2. Payment must be made in full by cash or card at the time of booking.
  3. Bookings will only be accepted by a parent or person with parental responsibility.
  4. Once you have made your booking, we will send you a email confirming the details of your booking. You have 7 days, from the day of booking, to check these details and inform us if any of the details are incorrect. A refund after this time will only be given on production of a doctor’s note, less an administration fee of £25.
  5. Maximum of 30 participants per Activity Session. 
  6. The Holiday Club will run from 9.30am until 3.30pm. Late arrivals will result in a shorter session.
  7. Activities will take place in poor weather. Should there be severe weather i.e. Gale force winds or lightning, then we will inform you of Woodhouse Parks decision to continue with the Activity Day or arrange for suitable indoor activities to entertain the young people.
  8. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian booking to ensure we have all the information required and that emergency details have been provided for each child.
  9. Publicity photographs may be taken. Please inform Woodhouse Park Activity center if you do not wish your child to be photographed.
  10. Children displaying inappropriate or antisocial behavior may be excluded and asked to be collected without refund.
  11. All persons using woodhouse Park Activity centre are required to comply with the rules of the Centre.
  12. Woodhouse Park reserves the right to terminate any booking, which fails to meet these conditions. In these circumstances no refund will be given.
  13. The parent/guardian booking the party must inform all guests that no dogs are allowed on site, except guide dogs.
